Six weeks to become a Chris Guitar Tuto method teacher, a lesson with a real student to show it, then coaching every month so nobody teaches alone.

One live 90-minute session a week, online, recorded. Between two sessions: about two hours of work with a real student.
02Week 2
The shape of a lessonThe thirty-minute plan, minute by minute, and the five rules for the teacher.
03Week 3
The app and the booksToday’s practice, the tempo ladder, the QR codes, what the app does better than a person.
04Week 4
Rhythm and chord changesCounting out loud, the one-minute change, slow then plus four.
05Week 5
Teaching six at onceAn online group: the screen, the mute, the order of turns, the student who hides.
06Week 6
Grades and the frameworkThe exams, safeguarding, the agreement, invoices, an unhappy parent.
The assessed lesson
Not an exam on paper.
A twenty-minute lesson with a real student, recorded and watched. If it is not there yet, another lesson, no extra fee.
What you earn: Rs 250 per group session, plus Rs 40 per student beyond three. Groups of six students at most.
The training: Rs 7,500 in Mauritius, €180 outside Mauritius, payable in three parts (3 × Rs 2,500). The first year of coaching is included; after that Rs 1,500 a year.
