Three plans

Your guitar, and a phone or computer with a microphone. The app does the listening.

On a yearly plan, satisfied or your money back: tell the admin within 30 days of your first yearly payment and it is refunded in full, whatever you used, once per person. A monthly plan can be cancelled at any time, and nothing more is taken.

At the start, if you are not sure, take the 3-minute test first: the first month follows an order, from day 1 to day 28. After that, on the four-year programme, you can answer the “My path” questions again at any time and your road picks up from the right term.

Use the speed control in the toolbar, or loop two bars and switch the speed trainer on.

Yes. Every session starts with Chris on video: he plays, the video stops, and it is your turn. The app listens and marks every chord. On day 25, Chris answers your take in person, and live with With Chris · Live.

Phone, tablet or computer, in a recent browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). Nothing to install, you can add it to your home screen. An internet connection is needed.

Acoustic or electric, either is fine. The tuner is in the app. A capo helps from term 5 on, but is not required.

10 to 25 minutes depending on the level, four days a week is enough. The full programme runs four years, sixteen terms of thirteen weeks.

Every thirteen weeks, the same three-minute TrueTake check-up: fastest tempo, chord-change lateness, steadiness, against day 1 and against last term. At the end of each year, an exam in the app, four marked pieces, then your progress report.

In term 7 you choose the music you came for: accompanying songs, blues & rock, or fingerstyle. The term’s lessons follow your choice, and you can change it until the term ends.

TrueTake listens on your device. Audio sent for analysis is processed on your device or deleted from our server within thirty minutes. Nothing is published. The privacy policy at the bottom of the page has the details.

Four live lessons of 45 minutes a month, with Chris, in the lesson room inside the app: he shows the tab, the scales and the piano there, and TrueTake marks you live. The times are set with you on WhatsApp, then the lesson appears in the app with a Join button. Free cancellation up to 24 h before. For one person.

A child joins the lesson from a parent’s account, on their own profile: no child enters a room alone. The parent sees the next lesson, the homework and the scores. For ages 6 to 12 there is Corda Kids, the children’s app.

The app listens to the sound, not the hand, so everything works the same. The chord diagrams are drawn for a right-handed player and read in a mirror. Write to us and we will help you choose at the start.

That is the thing that improves fastest, and it is the heart of the method. You count out loud, you start slow, and the rhythm light shows you every beat. The app listens and tells you when you are in time.

From 6 to 12 it is Corda Kids: songs, stars and a view for parents. From 12, the Method, the same as adults.
